First let me say this...PETA it is NOT the Jockey's fault..you are freakin retarted and stupid for even thinking that...He wasn't even whipping her as it happened

If you carefully watch the video and watch it a few times(as horrid as it is) it almost looks as if the Filly purposely fell...almost like she meant to, which probably means it's heart-related I might not be a Veterinarian but I even at 12 have done a good amount of reasearch on how to become one and anatomy on different animals..including horses and from what i ahve seen..I would say it's heart related...something was up with her heart and someone stupid either wasn't paying attention or when they checked all that stuff nothing came up and it was just sudden

But you know what? Euthanization was the best for her, even if they had saved her and she had been able to atleast walk again she could not EVER race again and it's pretty obvious she likes to race otherwise she would have kicked someone off in the middle of quite a few other races...there would be no point in breeding her, because if she couldn't race why should she be able to breed? A three hundred pound stallion standing on your back moving? Yes Stallions do hump to do their business and yes, it does put weight on the forelegs so how could she be able to breed? She probably wouldn't even be able to go on a hike with her new owners(Assuming she would be sold off because she couldnt race anymore)there would be nothing for her to do but sit in a pasture or a a stable and eat crap and sleep, a boring life for a racehorse, and even if she was able to walk or hike or whatever again she could not race, and a thoroughbred that doesn't race? That has been racing many times before and all of a sudden can't? She wouldn't understand that she hurt herself and now the thing she loved to do she can't do anymore, any horse or animal would try running around and just hurt themselves again
